Brightside Clinic is a nationally recognized outpatient mental health provider, holding three-time national accreditation from CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and 10-time annual licensure by the Louisiana Department of Health over the past ten years. The Bright Model of Treatment
Our signature evidence-informed treatment model focuses on producing successful outcomes within six months and even within the first 30 days of care. The Bright Model emphasizes education, awareness, and skill development—equipping clients with practical tools for long-term stability.
Brighter Youth Alternatives
We are proud to offer a comprehensive set of youth programs designed to keep children safely in their homes, reduce court involvement, and build healthier futures:Wraparound Program – Intensive support for at-risk children ages 10–17 who are at risk of out-of-home placement.Diversion Program – In partnership with the court system, this program supports adjudicated youth by offering treatment-focused alternatives to punitive measures.Alternatives to Detention Program – Designed for children involved in the juvenile justice system who are at risk of detention, offering therapeutic and skill-based interventions.
Teen Groups
We host gender-specific teen groups every week for boys and girls, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–8:00 p.m. These groups address grief, conflict resolution, and skill development, creating safe spaces for adolescents to grow and connect.
Family Counseling
We provide weekly family counseling sessions designed to strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and promote emotional wellness across the entire family system.
EMDR Program
Brightside Clinic offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy—an evidence-based approach proven effective in treating trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other emotional challenges. Our trained clinicians guide clients through a structured process to help them reprocess distressing experiences and move forward with healing.
HOPWA Program
Brightside Clinic is a proud partner in the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program — a national initiative locally supported through the City-Parish. Through HOPWA, we provide specialized mental health treatment and housing assistance for individuals living with HIV, as well as for families and households where someone has been affected by HIV. The program is available to all ages, including children, adults and the geriatric population. The program is offered in a clinic setting, in client homes or on-site (see our on-site programs for more details).This program reflects our commitment to delivering comprehensive care that addresses both mental health and stable housing, ensuring our clients have the support they need to thrive.👉 You can review the flyer below

We strive to make treatment affordable and accessible for all.-- We accept all Louisiana Medicaid (Healthy Louisiana) and Medicare plans.-- We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana and several other commercial insurance providers-- For commercial plans not listed, please call our office to verify eligibility. 888-417-5250, ask for the Billing or the Scheduling department.-- We also offer cash payment plans for individuals without insurance or who have not yet met their annual deductible.
